It's an annual service agreement that helps control the costs when essential systems and appliances in your home break down from everyday use. It can cover things like your A/C, plumbing, refrigerator, clothes washer and dishwasher. Here's how it works:

Covered items must be in good working order, with no apparent visual or operational malfunctions, as of your service agreement effective date; 30-day waiting period applies. Deductible due at time of service request and is separate from the plan premium. Non-covered charges, incidental charges and dollar amount caps may apply. If you cancel after 30 days and have placed a claim, you would be responsible for a $25 cancellation fee as well as the remainder of the annual premium or the amount of the claim, whichever is less. Only one claim, per member per 12-month period. Additional terms and conditions apply, which will be included in your plan materials you receive after enrollment.
